What to Expect from This Year’s Harvest

This year’s Palisade peaches are exceptionally sweet, flavorful, and aromatic, but the April freeze affected many Palisade orchards more heavily than early estimates suggested.

As a result, peach size may vary more than usual. Your box will still contain premium, USDA No. 1-grade peaches, but you should expect a natural mix of sizes rather than uniformly oversized fruit.

The Bartlett pears may also naturally vary somewhat in size, shape, and color as you would expect from fresh orchard-grown fruit.

What this season’s fruit may lack in perfectly uniform appearance is more than made up for in freshness, sweetness, and remarkable Colorado-grown flavor.
